The Business Centre (by Salma)

Once upon a time there was a business centre. Two girls worked in a shop. They sold flowers and perfumes. Next door there was a training centre for pilots and two girls worked there.

And every day they came to their shop and training centre and Saturday and Sunday they had the day off.

Until one day two girls came to the business centre to apply for positions. One of them was excited and the other was nervous.

And because of that one of them walked into the shop and saw the girls working there and thought “Id like this job!” The other girl went in and she saw the two pilots training and they let her have a go.

And because of that they both stayed there for a little longer until they phoned home to ask for permission to go to the park. And their parents said “yes” since they had tried to apply for work and training and did well. They also asked if they could return to the business centre the next day because their interviews weren’t completed.

Until finally when they went to the park they met some people who asked them what they were doing and they told them.

And ever since they are in the positions they wanted and they were successful. They got the jobs they wanted and they took care of their parents.

My Trip to Egypt (by Sama)

Once upon a time mummy, my sister and I went to Egypt by plane. We went to the airport and took the plane. It was five hours but felt like ten hours.

And every day with our cousins.

Until one day we wanted to see the pyramids. It was really hot, so we didn’t.

And because of that we decided we’ll see them next time.

And because of that we had Koshari. It’s a delicious dish of lentils, pasta, and a sauce like salsa.

Until finally we visited all the family and the grandparents. We went to the beach. Then we came back.

And ever since we think about our trip an enjoy the good memories.

Friends (by Sumeyah)

Once upon a time there were four boys and two girls. They went to the same school but they weren’t friends.

And every day they met in the drive way of Burger Takeway.

Until one day they bumped into each other again and they became friends. One of them was working for Burger Takeaway.

And because of that they became very close. She used to get burgers for them for free.

And because of that they went to her house to visit her. Her brother and brother’s friend were staying there too.

Until finally they met her parents.

And ever since they are friends together.

Lewis Hamilton and Lady Gaga (by Abdullahi)

Once upon a time there were six girls. And there was a boy. He lived in a posh house. His dad was a famous driver.

And every day the boy used to go outside and drive his new motorbike.

Until one day two sisters and two twins were looking out the window. One pair of twins instantly fell in love with him.

And because of that the next day when the boy was driving again the other pair of twins fell in love too.

And because of that the first pair of twins who fell in love saw this and said: Look, how they’re looking at him!” And the other pair of twins said: “No, he’s mine!”

Until finally the other two girls they fell in love too and everyone was fighting over him. And the boy said, “Stop!” And he chose one of the girls. He took her out for a drive. But the other girls were jealous and tried to kill each other and did so! However, the dead girls’ fathers thought the boy had killed their daughters and killed the boy.

And ever since the remaining girls, who were alive, left the town.

The Colourful House (by Safiya)

Once upon a time there was a colourful house. A family lived in it.

And every day they had a good time and they fought! They fought about unimportant things.

Until one day their mother went to a shop and there was a kidnapper and the kidnapper stole three babies.

And because of that they tried to find the place where the babies were.

And because of that they checked every single place and the kidnapper had left and gone to another country.

Until finally

And ever since
